It’s a known fact that the holiday season at Walt Disney World is absolutely magical. With four parks to enjoy the Christmas season in it can be easy to overlook some of the different offerings available for your enjoyment. Holiday’s Around the World is one unique celebration found at Disney, located in EPCOT park in the World Showcase.

I am a Christmas junkie. I love the music, I love the decorations, I love being surrounded by the warm fuzzies every day of the month of December. I also love cruising (in case you hadn’t noticed by now) and I clearly love Disney! Disney’s Very Merry Time Cruises combine three of my most favorite things and if you haven’t enjoyed one yet, here are 5 reasons to plan a Very Merry Time Cruise with Disney for your family.
We were lucky take the kids to the Disney Junior breakfast on our last Disney Cruise. We spent a magical week on the Disney Fantasy in Spring 2016 and we were psyched to find out that our sailing offered the Disney Junior Breakfast on one morning; tickets were free but required for entrance to the Animator’s Palate Dining Room.
Star Wars Day at sea was our 5th day on the Disney Fantasy. I am the only Star Wars Fan in my family; my hubby enjoys the movies but is not a Lucas geek like I am. My girls were able to see Episode VII a few weeks after the cruise and they actually enjoyed it. But while we were sailing, they didn’t have more than a cursory knowledge of all the characters. Nonetheless, we all had heightened anticipation when we began the day, looking forward to the fun atmosphere around the ship and the special programs that would be held that day.
One of the things I love about living in Central Florida is that we are blessed to enjoy all Walt Disney World has to offer several times throughout the year. One of my close friends, Charla, is a bonafide Disney fan and she, along with her family have been perfecting the art of Disney bounding! We both are homeschoolers and our children love spending time together, especially when we’re on a Disney family date together! She was kind enough to write today’s blog post explaining Disney bounding and how her family makes their Disney visits even more extraordinary.
The fourth day of our Disney Fantasy cruise was a port day on the lovely island of Grand Cayman.
As we rolled out of bed that morning we collectively decided that this would be a chill out day for us. We hadn’t booked any port excursions and though we would have enjoyed a day at Seven Mile Beach as we did on a previous Disney Cruise, we just didn’t have it in us to get going…
Our first stop on our 7 night Disney Western Caribbean cruise was Cozumel. We had been to this small island once before with the girls, on our first Disney cruise, but we knew there was so much more to see and wanted to do something a little more adventurous. We had spent the day prior to our visit onboard enjoying a relaxing sea day. The evening before we arrived in port we visited the shore excursions desk onboard and booked a tour hosted through Disney Cruise line.
